The sealing blocks out water and bacteria and prevents a non-hygienic metal-to-metal assembly. The bolts have self-draining surfaces with a maximal roughness of 0,8 μm Ra.Our self-tapping bolt is designed specifically for fastening steel to nylon without the need for a threaded insert. This solution allows the bolt to be tightened and loosened multiple times throughout the machine's lifespan. By using this self-tapping bolt, you achieve a more efficient result while eliminating the extra step of installing a threaded insert.• ST8 requires a hole diameter of Ø6.1–6.3 mm• ST6.3 requires a hole diameter of Ø5.5–5.6 mm• Only suitable for softer plastics such as PE1000 (polyethylene) or nylon• Minimizes cleaning time and water consumption• Surfaces with maximum roughness of 0.8 μm RaMore sizes are available upon request.
